We’ve been offered media access, but the AirplanePorn crew will be touching down at Oshkosh 2011 that day. If you’re not headed to the big show and you’re in NYC, this is a must see for any “real” aviation nut!

And unlike the nightly news, social media is powered by the people – meaning the topics that are being talked about arn’t chosen by some lefty wing nut in an office with a fancy desk.

You can follow us on twitter (http://www.twitter.com) under the user AirplanePorn (or commonly seen as @AirplanePorn). Twitter is pretty simple. You sign up. You follow people. People follow you. You don’t have to follow the people that follow you. It’s your choice. Unlike FaceBook (http://www.facebook.com) you don’t have to read everyones updates that follow you.
You can also build lists or use an application to look at people that generally talk about certain things – like the news, your pals from college, or the funny joke twitters.
