@juliewillfly on twitter has a new mission. She decided with Kyle Franklin’s permission (husband of Amanda Franklin who we lost to an accident this year), to collect money to erect a memorial bench to be placed at the Neosho Airport.

She went on a road trip to scout out the perfect bench design. She found the design that would be perfect at the National Museum of the US Air Force. Several examples can be found here: http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/photos/mediagallery.asp?galleryID=532

The bottom line is she’s trying to collect $2900. In airplane dollars that’s nothing. Like a few tires. A crappy prop. One instrument.
